Aluminum foils for li-ion batteries 1060, 1070, 1100 H18 should meet the following requirements:
First, the cleanliness of the aluminum foil is high: no debris, dust, especially iron filings should be mixed into the aluminum coil, which will seriously affect the safety of the battery during the charging and discharging process;
Second, the shape of the battery aluminum foil is required to be high: the uniformity of the anode material coated on the surface of the aluminum foil will greatly affect the service life and endurance of the lithium-ion battery. The coating process is almost free of tension, which all put forward very demanding requirements on the shape of the aluminum foil, usually the plate shape needs to be controlled below 10I;
Third, aluminium foils for li-ion batteries requires high mechanical properties: high tensile strength and high elongation are required under the condition that the aluminum purity remains unchanged. As we all know, the higher the aluminum purity, the tensile performance will continue to decrease, and the elongation rate will increase. This undoubtedly brings a difficult subject to the research of battery aluminum foil;
Fourth, the thickness and pinhole requirements are high: making existing products thinner and lighter has become an important way to increase the capacity of lithium-ion batteries. However, the decrease in the thickness of the aluminum foil will inevitably lead to an increase in the number of pinholes. The increase in pinholes will cause band breakage during the calendering process of the lithium ion battery, which will seriously affect its quality, which puts higher requirements on the aluminum foil;
Fifth, the surface requirements are extremely high: the surface of the aluminum foil must not have various surface defects such as dark spots, black oil lines, pitting, etc., which are directly related to the uniform coating and compaction process of lithium-ion batteries, so in the production process The requirements for the cleanliness of the aluminum foil machine and the environment are quite high;
Sixth, high dyne value: In order to ensure the coating quality, the dyne on the surface of the aluminum foils for li-ion batteries should be above 32 dyne, or even 34, 36 dyne.
